Chhattisgarh chapter of Save Indian Family filed a PIL in Madhya Pradesh High Court (Bilaspur bench) questioning the direct FIR being registered in 498A IPC without following the Supreme Court guidelines as per the judgment passed in the case of 'Arnesh Kumar Vs State of Bihar' considering CrPC 41-A amendments.
Also questioning the roping in of old and elderly parents, distant relatives as a pressure building tactics.
