Dear Men, Please Prioritize Your Health

Dear Men, Please Prioritize Your Health

We urge all Men to maintain their health by eating sensibly, exercising regularly, and visiting their doctor regularly to ward off illness and injury, especially during the month of June, which is designated as Men's Health Month. I understand that we don't always take the ideal care of our health - many men see the doctor only when they believe they have a significant medical issue. However, for men, preventative care is essential to identifying and treating heart disease and cancer, the two top causes of mortality for men in the nation.

You should maintain your health by receiving preventive care, which includes yearly physicals and screening exams for cancer, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, mental health issues, and other disorders. Visiting your doctor annually ensures that you are receiving the vaccines and screenings that are necessary for your age, lifestyle, and medical history. Annual exams enable your doctor to see changes in your health and decide on the best course of treatment and lifestyle advice.

A balanced diet and frequent exercise should be adopted between yearly checks. Pay attention to your habits. Adults should engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per week or 75 minutes of strenuous aerobic exercise per week, according to the experts, as well as moderate- to high-intensity muscle-strengthening activities on at least two days each week. Moderate alcohol use and no longer smoking are healthy lifestyle decisions that have an influence on many different areas of your health.

We strongly advise that you select from the many options on the market to help you take control of your health, including programs focusing on various health conditions, a variety of health and wellness events, primary care and specialty care doctors, advanced providers, and registered dietitians, and exercise specialists.

We sincerely request you all men, prioritize your health.
